No, you must book your own travel to and from your SUP & Sail trip with THE SUP WEEK.

If your SUP & Sail trip starts in the greater Split area, there is the option of arriving via Split Airport; if your trip goes through the Kornati islands, it is best to arrive via Zadar Airport.

Alternatively, you can, of course, also drive to Spilt or Zadar – you decide which route is best for you.

On the Island Hopping SUP & Yoga trip in Greece, all guests are accommodated in double or twin cabins on the upper deck or alternatively on the lower deck of our ship, the MY AEGEOTISSA.

We offer high-quality iSUPs as rental SUP equipment on our Island Hopping and SUP & Sail trips. The rental fee per week is € 79,- per board, paddle and leash.

You can reserve your SUP rental equipment directly when you book your trip or at the latest 30 days before the start of your trip.

You are also welcome to take your own iSUP on your trip if you prefer. In this case, please also bring a paddle and a leash.

If you would like to paddle along on our SUP fari tours on our Island Hopping trips, we will lend you a professional GPS tracking system for your personal tracking and safety (this must be booked in addition, as it is not included in the tour price; participants can also share a device and take turns on the tours).

In addition, the following personal equipment is mandatory for the Island Hopping trips if you would like to take part in our SUP fari tours:

– Rental-Restube-buoy with suspender belt
– Certified life jacket
– Waterproof cell phone case with strap
– Drinking bottle with mounting option
– Waterproof duffel bag (drybag)
– Board leash (if you bring your own iSUP)

The lengths of our SUP fari tours vary and also depend on our route. We are usually on the tour for about 3 hours, including breaks. It is not decided until the morning whether we will paddle along the coast of an island, from bay to bay or from one island to the next. It depends on the current wind and weather conditions, so we can always choose the best route for our SUP fari tours.

Our SUP coaches and a safety speedboat accompany you on the SUP fari tours so that you can enjoy this special paddling experience to the full.

Yes, our SUP fari tours are more suitable for advanced paddlers, so paddling experience is definitely an advantage. Accompanied by our SUP coaches and our safety speedboat and equipped with a GPS tracking device, you are always safe and well looked after on our tours.

If you are still a beginner paddler, that is no reason not to come on our Island Hopping trips – we anchor daily in quiet bays where our SUP coaches will be happy to give you a SUP course and teach you how to use the board and paddle step by step.

Our skipper will take care of the sailing and our SUP coach will be happy to teach you how to paddle in a quiet bay.

For our SUP & Sail trips, individual bookings are only possible if an entire double or twin cabin is booked at the price of two people.

However, up to two weeks before the start of the trip, you have the option of naming another person who will travel with you and share the cabin with you.

Our SUP & Sail trips offer space for up to 6 guests on a sailing catamaran. All guests are accommodated in double or twin cabins with their own bathroom with WC and shower.

Of course, there is also a skipper on board who will be happy to tell you everything you ever wanted to know about sailing. And then there’s a SUP coach who accompanies you on the SUP tours and is also happy to offer SUP beginner courses or technical trainings in quiet bays.

Paddling experience – just like sailing skills – is, of course, not a must in order to be able to take part in one of our SUP & Sail trips.

The lengths of our SUP tours during our SUP & Sail trips vary and depend on our sailing route and, of course, the current weather conditions. In the mornings we decide whether we will paddle along the coast of an island, from bay to bay or within a large bay. Our SUP coach will accompany you, so you can definitely enjoy this special paddling experience to the fullest.

As we only travel in small groups on our SUP & Sail trips, we can also plan the SUP tours individually and according to the wishes of the group.

Do I need paddling experience for the SUP tours on the SUP & Sail trips?2024-05-02T15:08:50+00:00

No, our SUP tours on the SUP & Sail trips are also suitable for paddlers with little paddling experience. We mainly anchor in quite bays or on coastal areas between the islands that are acutally suitable to try stand up paddling easily. Our SUP coach accompanies you on all tours and is, of course, happy to offer assistance if required.

If you’re a beginner paddler, that’s no problem either; the calm bays where we anchor every day are the perfect place to be taught by our SUP coach how to paddle step by step. The coach will be happy to give you an individual SUP course and show you everything you need to know about the board and paddle.

Yes, and you have two options to choose from if you are traveling alone on one of our Island Hopping SUP trips:

1. You can book a bed in a twin cabin at the normal cabin price per person. In this case, you may be sharing the cabin with a same-sex stranger.

2. The second option is to book a bed in a double or twin cabin for single use, an additional surcharge will be applicable. You can find the corresponding surcharges under the menu item “Booking” on our website. In this case, we guarantee that you will have the cabin all to yourself during your Island Hopping Trip.

Daily breakfast, lunch and three dinners are included in the price of THE SUP WEEK’s Island Hopping trips.

The remaining four evenings during our Island Hopping trip we will be moored in the port of a town where you can then go out to eat in a restaurant of your choice – there is a large selection of restaurants and bars, so there should be something to suit every taste! These evenings ashore are not included in the travel price.

Can I bring my own SUP board to my THE SUP WEEK trip?2024-05-06T18:56:44+00:00

You are welcome to bring your own SUP board to your THE SUP WEEK trip; however, only inflatable boards (iSUPs) are allowed on our trips.

If you decide to bring your own board, please also bring your own paddle and a board leash. We will then store your equipment with our rental boards on board of our boat for you.

Alternatively, you can also rent a SUP board from us; the rental fee is € 79.00 each for the whole week. In this case we will provide you with an iSUP incl. paddle and board leash, so you don’t have to worry about anything here. You can let us know directly when booking or at a later date if you would like to rent a SUP board from us. You will then receive the rental board on arrival on board.

Can I book a travel or cancellation insurance through THE SUP WEEK?2024-05-06T18:59:05+00:00

Yes, we offer various travel and cancellation insurances that will give you the necessary safety in order to book your trip. You can find the various options, including the relevant conditions, on the respective booking page for your trip.

Our insurance partner is Europäische Reiseversicherung.

Basically, there are no restrictions on the luggage you can bring on our THE SUP WEEK trips.

However, you should bear in mind that the storage space in the cabins is limited and that there are no storage rooms or similar on the boats. That’s why it’s best to avoid suitcases (especially hard-cover suitcases are completely out of place here) and rather bring a duffel or flexible travel bag.

Please also keep in mind that our trips require more casual clothing and that you certainly don’t need to bring evening wear.

Before departure, we also send out a packing list to all guests so that you can get an overview of the recommended clothing and other useful items for your luggage.

Catering on THE SUP WEEK’s Island Hopping trips is provided by the boat’s crew. The kitchen staff prepare a high-quality and varied selection of local dishes for us.

Our yoga classes are suitable for everyone and our highly experienced yoga coaches will find the right exercises for beginners that suit your personal level, your exercise routine and your daily condition.

You don’t need any previous experience for our SUP yoga courses – neither in paddling nor in yoga! Our SUP yoga coach will give you all the important tips for yoga on the board so that you can enjoy your SUP yoga session in complete relaxation.

Individual bookings are only possible if an entire cabin is booked on our sailing catamaran.

If you don’t (yet) have a travel partner, no problem – you are, of course, still very welcome and can book a double cabin for yourself. You are welcome to name another person who will travel with you up to two weeks before the trip starts.

YACHT Booking:

With this option, only the entire yacht or several yachts can be booked. There are 2 yacht sizes to choose from; you decide how many friends you want to share your private yacht with.

Your fitness level and paddling experience are not important when you decide whether the THE SUP WEEK trips are suitable for you or not. So even if you’re a SUP beginner, you’ve come to the right place!

Our highly experienced SUP coaches will be happy to give you SUP lessons in a quiet bay so that you can learn to paddle step by step and in a fantastic setting; they will be happy to give you tips and accompany you on your first paddle attempts.

And don’t forget that our trips are about much more than just paddling: you’ll take a boat trip through an impressive island world, explore beautiful port towns, sit in a beach bar with friends and watch the sun set over the sea…

THE SUP WEEK trips are no classic sports trips that are all about exercise and sport. Every boat has (at least) one sun deck where you can easily relax on all day if you feel like it!

The entire sports program is, of course, voluntary and only an offer from our side; those who prefer to go for a walk on land or sit together with friends until late at night and watch the sea will get paid off as well. Each guest decides for himself how often he wants to join in what part of the daily sports program and how he wants to spend his vacation.

The skipper supports in coordinating the shopping at the supermarket at the beginning of our trip to ensure that we have enough food and drinks on board. In the spacious cockpit of your sailing catamaran, you can easily prepare meals together in the galley. Cooking is done together in the group or alternately per cabin.

Anyways, on some evenings we also moor in the port towns on the islands along our route and visit restaurants and bars there.

No, meals are not included in the price of our SUP & Sail trips.

Each guest pays an amount in cash into a petty cash which is used for example for paying food and drinks at the supermarket at the beginning of the trip.

Our SUP & Sail trips start and end in the Croatian city of Split (port in the greater Split area, max. 30 minutes by car from Split airport). We will announce the marina and the exact location where our sailing catamaran awaits us before the trip starts.

YACHT Booking:

You decide where you want to board and disembark your private sailing yacht: In Split or in Zadar (port in the greater Split or Zadar area, max. 30 minutes by car from the airport).

Why do I need a rental GPS tracking device?2024-05-06T18:58:08+00:00

The GPS tracking device is obligatory and must be booked if you would like to take part in our SUP-Fari tours during our Island Hopping trips.

It’s all about your safety – thanks to the GPS tracking device, we can determine your exact location at any time during the tour and come tosupport you at any time if you need assistance; we always have our safety speedboat with its own skipper with us.

You can book a GPS tracking device directly with your booking, the rental fee is € 45.00. However, you can also decide to rent a device at a later date before the trip and simply let us know by e-mail.

If you don’t want to paddle on all SUP fari tours, you can of course also share a device with your travel partner; in this case, the two of you can rent just one device and then take turns paddling on the tours.
